Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across multiple market sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and industry partners.
- Develop pursuit and win strategies for proposals and interviews.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Collaborate with leadership to align business development initiatives with firm goals.
- Manage and maintain an active sales pipeline and CRM database.
- Track market trends, proposal performance, and business development metrics.
- Assist with strategic planning, client outreach, and marketing initiatives.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Architecture, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years of business development, marketing, client development, or strategic growth experience within architecture, engineering, design, construction, or professional services.
- Strong understanding of the AEC industry and relationship-driven business development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Deltek, or similar.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple pursuits simultaneously.
- Experience with venue management or industry certifications is a plus.
